A new comedy by Kate Bramley, with music by Jez Lowe
North Yorkshire’s Badapple Theatre’s hard working, hard travelling “Doorstep Theatre” troop are back on the road this month with a reprise of their hugely successful production from last year, “The Land Girls of Yorkshire”. Writer/director Kate Bramley evokes the essence of wartime rural life with her comedy of life-on-the-land for a pair of young female townies with high hopes for their future. Their fun-filled adventures are based on Kate’s own convivial conversations with some real-life Land Girls who are still living in the county, and who were keen to share their memories from that time of hardship and determination, almost seventy years ago
